Graduation 2008 is May 3!

CHECKLIST FOR GRADUATION
Check your Grace email often for updates

1. TRANSCRIPT CHECK

By the middle of the semester before your final semester, obtain an unofficial transcript and a copy of program sheet; go to your advisor, and make sure you have all your graduation requirements done or planned for.

2. APPLICATION TO GRADUATE

Obtain Online under “Forms”
Return to Registrar’s Office by _Dec. 1, 2007_______

Students with deficient academic hours may request permission to participate in the May commencement exercises provided they have no more than 6 semester hours or 1 academic course remaining in their program and they meet all other graduation requirements. Additional regulations are specified on the petition form. This petition can be requested by contacting the Academic Vice President’s Office.
Exceptions
The faculty decides on any exceptions to the graduation requirements listed above.Click here to access Petition to Graduate Form

3. COMMENCEMENT PARTICIPATION

Participation in Baccalaureate required
Participation in Commencement required

If legitimate conflict exists, must submit signed, dated written request to Academic VP’s Office for approval by March 1, 2008

5. Order Announcements Online

Announcements may be ordered directly from the Willsie Co. via their online order form. Orders must be placed 4 weeks before Commencement in order to receive them in time to mail them out. They will be mailed directly to you. Order your announcements Here!

6. Order Diploma Frame, Class ring Online

Class rings by Jostens: Go to www.shopjostens.com to design and order your class rings. There are many rings to choose from and you can see your finished design right away.

Diploma Frames may be ordered from www.diplomaframe.com They have some beautiful frames with the Grace Seal, specially designed for you.

7. SENIOR LUNCHEON, PRESIDENT’S BREAKFAST

You will receive an invitation for each of these events.

You will be allowed 3 free tickets; each additional is $12.00 per person, to be paid before the event

Students alone assume the responsibility that all requirements are met prior to the deadline for graduation. Please refer to your catalog for graduation requirements. If you have questions contact your advisor.

Fees
There is a $200 graduation fee that will be added to your account when you apply for graduation. This INCLUDES Regalia.

It is important that you check your Grace E-mail address or update your preferred e-mail address with the Registrar's Office. Reminders and schedule updates in the spring will only be sent electronically, so be sure the Registrar's Office has your current e-mail address.
