FAFSA
The FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) is a required document that must completed each year for federal aid. Federal aid includes such things as scholarships, grants, work-study, and loans. The FAFSA is also required to work on the Grace University campus whether you obtain a work study or non-work study position. You can do your FAFSA on the web or you can complete a paper process. To complete your FAFSA on the web you must first request a PIN (Personal Identification Number). The Department of Education will then send you, your PIN via email or standard mail.
We strongly recommend you complete your FAFSA on the web because of the many benefits to the students. You can immediately receive a copy of your Student Aid Report (SAR), and view your Expected Family Contribution (EFC) which is used to determine financial need. You can also make corrections immediately and send an amended FAFSA back to the Department of Education. The biggest advantage is time. Once you have sent a completed FAFSA to the Department of Education, Grace University will receive a response within 72 hours, which then we use to send out an Award Package.
If you feel more comfortable filling out a paper FAFSA please send it to the Grace University Financial Aid Office for processing. The Department of Education Processing Center takes 6-8 weeks to process your paper FAFSA as compared to our office processing it within one week.
You may complete the FAFSA online by going to http://www.fafsa.ed.gov/.

Due to the limited availability of university financial aid funds, approved appeals can only be funded with additional student and/or parent loans. We urge you to carefully consider your total loan debt before borrowing additional loan funds.
