Head Softball Coach

Grace University, Laguna Niguel, California, is looking for a Head Softball Coach. Reporting to the Athletics Director, the Head Softball Coach will be responsible for the administration of an NCCAA Division I Softball program to: ensure the health, well-being and academic success of the student-athletes and develop the competitive nature of the Softball program. The position is also responsible for developing and maintaining the sport budget; scheduling and organizing practice and competitions; ensuring that the program is operating in compliance with the NCCAA, conference and university rules; developing and enforcing written team rules and expectations; recruiting quality student-athletes that are intent on graduating from the institution; assisting in the monitoring and maintenance of academic progress and eligibility of team members; supporting the philosophy, policies and procedures of the Department of Athletics; and to promoting intercollegiate athletics as an integral part of the university. PART-TIME STAFF OPENINGS

Athletic Trainer

Grace University, Laguna Niguel, California, a member of the NCCAA Division I, seeks a Head Athletic Trainer to effectively manage athletic training services for Grace Universities athletic programs. This position directs the athletic training program for intercollegiate athletics and supervises the training room. Collaborates with coaching staff in developing conditioning, weight training and nutrition programs for athletes. Coordinates medical coverage for athletic events. Supervises Athletic Trainers and Physical Therapists in the prevention, care, and rehabilitation of athletic injuries. Determines, with advice from a doctor, when and at what level an athlete can return to participation in a sport. This position oversees the budget responsibilities of inventory, purchasing and maintenance of supplies and materials, maintains medical and administrative records, and coordinates medical coverage for athletic events. Requires a Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in athletic training from an accredited institution; certification by the National Athletic Trainers’ Association Board of Certification (NATABOC), and CPR/AED Certification. Baseball Assistant Coach

Grace University, Laguna Niguel, California, a member of the NCCAA Division I, is looking for an assistant Baseball coach. Primary responsibilities will be to assist the head coach in all facets of the program, including the recruitment of student-athletes, organization and planning of practices, game preparation, administrative duties, scouting and monitoring of student-athlete academic progress. Previous collegiate participation and/or coaching experience is preferred.
